The District revised Policy 4.47 for Possession and Use of Personal Electronic Devices on July 1, 2025, to comply with the Arkansas Bell-to-Bell No Cell statute. The policy has been released to parents in the 7-12 Handbook (see page 44). The procedures for grades 9-12 are linked here.
The PSAT is coming up October 20th! All 10th and 11th graders are automatically registered for free. This test serves as the National Merit Qualifying Test when taken in grade 11 (or the year just prior to graduation year). 9th graders may find it beneficial to take early and often. 9th graders may register and get more details HERE.
Changes: No phones are to be out from the time you enter the building until the 3:55 bell rings. No earbuds or head phones are allowed (including wired headphones). If items are out, you will have to take your device(s) to the SLC and parents must pick them up.

If you are new to Bentonville Schools this year and want to try out for the Track team, tryouts are next Monday, Aug. 17th, at 4:30. An Arkansas HS student can have an excused absence for working as an "election page" (AR Code § 7-4-116 (2024). This is a formal program sponsored by a county board of election commissioners. The NEW AR ACCESS Portal will open in October to apply to Arkansas colleges. We will help you register during September. The Common App is now open and helps you apply to over 1,100 schools around the US and the world. October 1: Complete FAFSA and create your AR SAMS account for scholarships.
