An Arkansas HS student can have an excused absence for working as an "election page" (AR Code § 7-4-116 (2024). This is a formal program sponsored by a county board of election commissioners. Students in Grades 10-12 should have a service log they started in advisory class. Look in their Google Drive; it will be a Google Spreadsheet. 9th graders will receive directions during advisory and should start a list in their Google Drive with dates, times, and service. They will be trained to do this in a new state portal this year.
