Senior Cap and Gown Delivery

Jostens will be in the AAC lobby from 12:00 noon - 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26th to deliver cap and gowns.  Balances must be paid in full to pick up.

Summer School

Bentonville School District is offering new opportunities during Summer School for more credit options than ever before.  These opportunities are provided not only for Bentonville Students but also for Out-of-District students and include an array of courses being offered through on campus sessions and a new online session!  

Additionally, registration and summer school information can be found on each high schools website under summer school tab.  Registration will be open April 1st - May 31st.

4th Annual Bentonville Youth Police Academy

The Bentonville Police Department will be hosting it's fourth annual Youth Academy this summer from June 10th thru June 14th daily from 9AM until 3:30PM. This is a free program that allows students to learn more about what police work is like; from DWI investigations, to Bomb/SWAT Team demonstrations. Lunch will be provided each day as well as transportation to and from any activities throughout the week. If interested, see either SRO and submit your application before May 20th!

Student Vs. Faculty Flag Football Game

The 4th annual student vs. faculty flag football game will be held April 26th during advisory.  Tickets are $1 and can be purchased at the gate or in room 1602.  All students who attend will take first lunch.  Concessions will be available.  All proceeds benefit Make A Wish.  

Autism Awareness

April is National Autism Awareness Month. This is an excellent opportunity to promote autism awareness, autism acceptance and to draw attention to the tens of thousands facing an autism diagnosis each year. On Friday, April 26th please wear blue as we show support for our friends, family, and fellow students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Seniors - Correspondence Course Credit Deadline is May 1

In order for a senior to be on the graduation list, grades for any correspondence course or online course must be received by May 1. Failure to meet this deadline may cause the senior to be omitted from graduation activities including being listed as a graduate on the program. Seniors should plan to complete and mail all correspondence lessons by April 1 in order to guarantee getting the test graded and the grade reported to Bentonville Schools by May 1.    This is an excerpt from our five most recent course catalogs.  

9th Grade Leadership Day This Weekend

Register for the 2nd annual Leaders in Action Workshop specifically for BHS 9th graders!

The workshop will be held at BHS this Saturday, April 27 from 9am-3pm. Check your BHS email for more info and the link to register. The event is FREE and lunch is provided. Registration closes on Thursday, April 25.

UA Global Campus Skilled Trades Summer Camp

The University of Arkansas Global Campus is hosting a skilled trades summer day camp this summer July 15-19 for ages 14 to 19.

Student Vs. Faculty Flag Football Game

The 4th annual Student Vs. Faculty flag football game will take place Friday, April 26 during advisory.  Tickets are only $1 and can be purchased in 1602 or at the gate.  All proceeds benefit Make A Wish.  There will be concessions available.  Students will take first lunch and keep ticket stub as proof of attendance.  Come out, enjoy a nice day, and support a good cause.

Mary May Jones Senior Recognition Day

Attention former Mary Mae Jones Elementary students! Seniors of 2019, please join us on Wednesday, May 1, at 9:00 a.m. for breakfast and a senior recognition. We will have time for you to visit with former teachers, catch up, take pictures, eat breakfast, and walk the halls of Mary Mae Jones Elementary one last time! We would ask that you please bring your cap and gown with you as well. Bentonville Youth Baseball League Needs Volunteers for Buddy Ball

American Heart Association Sweetheart Program

The AHA is now accepting applications for the 2019-2020 Sweetheart Program. Qualifying applicants are girls who will be a sophomore in the fall of 2019. The Sweetheart program is designed to educate and empower high school sophomore girls while engaging them in the American Heart Association's Mission. Sweethearts develop team building skills, earn volunteer hours and gain valuable leadership skills. Sweethearts are presented at the NWA Heart Ball Gala in February, volunteer at local AHA events, participate in telethons, and are youth advocates for the American Heart Association in NWA. Pizza for Student Section!

Come support your BHS Soccer teams Tuesday, April 30th, as they take on Springdale for Senior Night.  Varsity girls play at 5:30 and boys' varsity at 7:00.  Senior players will be announced between games. Pizza, while it lasts, will be provided to the student section between the two games. 

Hygiene Donations for Local Shelter

The BHS HOBY club is collecting donations for hygiene items to give to a local shelter. There are boxes placed in each office, lobby, and several classrooms on campus to place donations. We are seeking donations of the following items & appreciate your support to help those in need in our community!

Senior Survey Open Now

The 2019 Senior Exit Survey is live on Naviance. ALL graduating seniors must complete this to report your post-graduation plans for next year & to receive your diploma. 

Login to Naviance to share what you plan to do next fall, which scholarships you've earned, and if you want to participate in the NEW! Senior Signing Day on May 14. 

2019 Yearbooks

Yearbooks should be here the first week of May and will be distributed during lunches. More details to come. If you did not preorder a yearbook, there will only be about 100 extra available. These will be sold for $65...first come, first serve. 

Interested in sports medicine?

Are you interested in learning more about athletic training, physical therapy, and sports medicine? You'll be able to learn taping/wrapping skills, gain a certification in first aid and CPR, work with our Tiger sports teams, and help the athletic training staff with daily training room duties. Be apart of something bigger. Come join the BHS Sports Medicine team - we are the team behind the Tigers!

Young Republican Elections May 7th in Rm 338

If interested in joining Young Republicans sign up for flex 4.2 Tuesday May 7th in room 338.  We will hold elections then, and you can be a part of the vote for the leaders of the club for 2019-20 school year.  If you are interested in running for an office you will need to pick up 3 teacher recommendation forms ASAP from Mrs. Davis in room 338 and have them filled out and turned in before May 7th.  You will also need to write up a speech to present to the voters.  If you have any questions stop by 338 or email
