Bookmark Contest

The library is hosting its 6th annual Bookmark Contest. Stop by the library to pick up an entry form and submit your original design by September 28th. The winning bookmarks will be printed and used as the official library bookmarks for the entire school year! Show off your art and leave your mark—literally.


Election Page Volunteer Information and Application

An Arkansas HS student can have an excused absence for working as an "election page" (AR Code § 7-4-116 (2024). This is a formal program sponsored by a county board of election commissioners. Morning Drop-Off Procedures

Dear BHS Families: Please review morning drop-off procedures for zero hour and regular start students to help ensure a safe, efficient arrival. Follow directions from school personnel managing traffic. Procedures will be monitored and adjusted as needed to improve safety and traffic flow. Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and support.

Get Involved with BHS Theatre

Have a student interested in participating in Theatre this year? Come meet other Theatre families, learn what’s ahead and discover ways to support the students and programs that make BHS Theatre so special. Senior College App Timelines and NEW News

The NEW AR ACCESS Portal will open in October to apply to Arkansas colleges. We will help you register during September. The Common App is now open and helps you apply to over 1,100 schools around the US and the world. October 1: Complete FAFSA and create your AR SAMS account for scholarships.

Sharing a social media post or picture alleging school violence or perpetuating rumors, misinformation, and fear is disruptive. Talk with your parents, administrators, and police about concerns. New College Scholarships in Arkansas w/ Diploma of Merit or Diploma of Distinction

You missed our events on July 28 and July 30, but you can see the slides and the webinar recording that are linked here for you. This information can help families in grades 6-12.


How to Find or Start a Community Service Log

Students in Grades 10-12 should have a service log they started in advisory class. Look in their Google Drive; it will be a Google Spreadsheet. 9th graders will receive directions during advisory and should start a list in their Google Drive with dates, times, and service. They will be trained to do this in a new state portal this year.


Homecoming Float Entry

Show your Tiger Pride! Enter a float in the 2026 Homecoming Parade on Thursday, September 25. Walkers, riders, vehicles, clubs, teams, and organizations are all welcome. Cash prizes up to $1,000! Scan the QR code on the flyer to register. Entries are due by September 10.
