Students should be parking in their assigned parking spots. At this time only 11th and 12th graders are parking on campus. 9th and 10th graders should be parking at the Baseball Field. Tickets will be given out starting Monday, August 19. If you have requested a spot, you will need to pay and have your parking ticket no later than Friday, August 30 in room 1608. Reserved spots that have not been paid for will be removed at the end of the day Friday, August 30. Starting Tuesday, September 3, 9th and 10th graders will be able to request parking. This is on a first come basis, no reserved spots. Parking application must be completed (this can be picked up in the north main office) and pay the $20 fee.
The wait if finally over...the 2019 Volleyball season starts Thursday, August 22nd in Tiger Arena. Our Tigers will be taking on Greenwood at 5:30, as well as Shiloh Christian at 7:30pm. Come out and support our Tigers and see how much improvement they have made during the off-season! 2019 season here we come!
Intramural Flag Football team sign-ups will be Tuesday Aug.20th-Friday Aug.23rd. There will be room for 16 teams. Sign-ups will be in North Commons during lunch Tuesday and Wednesday and at the cage Thursday and Friday.
Games will begin Wednesday September 4th @ 4:30 and 5:15 and will be played at Phillips Park.
If you have questions, stop by the Cage located in the South Commons!
Any current BHS Student interested in joining the BHS VEX Robotics Team can stop by Room 339 and see Ms. Sandoval or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. Applications will be available until August 30, 2019.
If you have pictures from Spring 2019 sports, please send them to email@example.com for the yearbook staff. The staff needs photos of soccer, softball, baseball and track & field.
BHS Swim and Dive tryouts will be September 9-12, at the Bentonville Community Center from 3:00 - 4:00 PM. Participation everyday is required.

Passes are $35 and get you into EVERY home sporting event here at BHS. It also includes a Welcome to the Jungle T-Shirt.
Come see us at the store to purchase your pass (cash, check or credit card) or you can purchase it online using our MyPaymentsPlus.
To pay online, log in to your MyPaymentsPlus account online at www.MyPaymentsPlus.com. If you haven't set up your account yet, it is easy. Follow the steps and you will be ready in no time. You will then choose "BHS Tiger Prints" and "Jungle Pass". You can submit payment online and pick up your shirt at the school store.
ROAR (Relationships, Opportunities, Adventures, and Readiness) is an after-school program for ANY 9-12 grade BHS student.
We meet every Monday-Thursday from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Each day consists of homework time/tutoring time, a snack or meal, and a fun activity. Bus transportation is provided home. Pick up an application in 1606, 239, the South Library, the counseling officers or both main offices. Return completed applications to room 1606, room 239, or the North or South Office.

Wednesday, September 4 @ 5 p.m. Bentonville Public Library will host the Bentonville Police Department as they instruct Safe Driving Lessons for Teens. Topics will include texting and driving, intoxicated driving, and roadside safety. The workshop is part of the Life Skills Workshops for Teens.
This free workshop is open to 7 – 12 grade students, and registration required and limited. Register through the Calendar tab on Bentonvillelibrary.org.
Thursday, September 5, 12, 19 & 26 from 6-7 p.m. join BPL's ACT Prep Workshop! Students will learn motivating strategies to conquer the ACT. The workshop will utilize a retired ACT exam and explore BPL's FREE Student Portal ACT resources.
These free workshops are open to 7 – 12 grade students, and registration is required and limited. Students must commit to the entire four-session workshop. Register through the Calendar tab on Bentonvillelibrary.org.
