Early Childhood Services

Bentonville Early Childhood Special Education services focus on helping children between the ages of 3 to 5 years of age reach age appropriate developmental milestones. Services that are available include developmental, speech/language, occupational and physical therapy.

What is the first step to seeking services?
If you feel that your child may have areas that are delayed, complete the attached forms below and fax to (479)271-1123. You will be contacted by someone from the Early Childhood Special Education program to schedule a time to complete an initial screener to determine whether a comprehensive evaluation is warranted.

What cost is it to the parent?
We are a public school. Therefore, free appropriate public education is available to all children in which eligibility is determined appropriate.

Who can I contact for services if my child isn’t 3 years old yet?
Early Intervention services for children birth to 3 years of age are offered by a number of agencies. Below you will find a couple of links to agencies that may help in getting early intervention for children birth to 3 years of age.
