Got Bike Issues?
We can help!
Support your local students while keeping your bike in top condition

Who We Are
We are a model business class inside Gateway A.L.E. Our class teaches students technical repair skills, shop safety and valuable business soft skills through the operation of a bicycle repair shop.
By trusting us with your bicycle repairs and maintenance work, you are helping our students to gain valuable skills both in working on the bikes and by working on the business of taking care of bikes.
We help our students gain marketable skills and experience as well as helping them understand what it takes to run a successful business. What they learn here goes way beyond simply reading about business principles in a book. They get to understand what it takes and prepare themselves for life outside the classroom.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost?
$15 basic service fee, + any additional costs for parts like tubes or brake pads, etc.
When are you open?
We are open any school day from 10-4pm. As we are a school, unfortunately we are not open on weekends or summers.
Can your shop service or repair <_________> on my bike?
Yes! We can perform all services for all bikes with a few exceptions. We do not service carbon fiber bikes or components, and we do not service elite level suspensions or dropper posts.
Do I need an appointment?
Nope! Come by any school day and walk right up to our service window.
How long does it take to service my bike?
Since we are student mechanics, we are not fast! It takes us roughly a week to get a bike turned around. We can go much faster if you are in need or if the bike is your main transportation.
Where is your door?
All of our customer interaction is through our service window at the SouthWest corner of the South Building of Bentonville High School, facing J Street.
This is for the protection of the students that are running our program.
Do I need to check in with the School to get my bike worked on?
No, you do not need to check in with the school when visiting our Shop. That is the reason for the Service Window that faces J Street. You can come right up to the window and talk with one of our techs.
