The Arend Arts Center has become the hub for school and community arts in Northwest Arkansas. Since its opening in 2004, over 200,000 patrons have attended various performances and events.
The stage has featured performances from the elementary level to high school concerts and dramatic productions. Dozens of community based art organizations have also established the AAC as their theatrical home.
Annual events include performances by the Benton County Symphony, Classical Ballet Academy's production of Nutcracker, and the Ozark Mountain British Brass Band. Professional Artists have also displayed their talents on the AAC stage, including concert pianists Vladimir Zaitsev and Rosario Andino; Children's entertainer Joe Scruggs; Christian rock group Jars of Clay; and long-time entertainers Tim Conway and Harvey Korman.
The Arend Arts Center also has hosted several large scale meetings for businesses and corporations.
With all of these events; however, the main focus of the Arend Arts Center is for the students of Bentonville Public Schools.
