Bentonville Schools recognize that a child's education is a responsibility shared by the school and family during the entire time a child spends in school. To accomplish this purpose, the Board of Education has adopted a District Parental Involvement Policy and a School Parental Involvement Policy that reflects how the district and schools will foster effective parental involvement and support partnerships with parents and the community to improve student achievement.
Please take a few minutes to complete our Parental Involvement Survey so that we can determine how well the district and our schools have met your family's and children's needs. Your responses will remain confidential. The results of the survey will be summarized and used to make improvements to our parental involvement program.
In addition, each school has a Parental Involvement Plan which addresses the need for schools and parents to work together as knowledgeable partners to promote the educational success of their children. Parents are always welcome and are encouraged to visit the school any time they might have questions or would like to view the operation of the school system. A Parent Resource Center is available in every school as well as numerous volunteer opportunities. We hope you will let us know how we can work as a team to help your child succeed.
